AUTO MATIC DOOR LOCKS — IF EQUIPPED
The doors will lock autom atically on vehicles with power
door locks if all of the follow ing cond itions are met:
For vehicles not equ ipped with the EVIC the Autom atic
Door Locks can be enabled or disabled by perform ing the
follow ing proced ure:

The Auto Lock featu re is enabled .
The transm ission is in gear.
1. Close all doors and place the key in the ignition.
2. Cycle the ignition switch betw een LOCK and ON and
back to LOCK four times end ing up in the LOCK
position.
All doors are closed .
The throttle is pressed .

Dep ress the power door lock switch to lock the doors.

Auto Unlock
The Autom atic Door Lock featu re can be enabled or
disabled . Refer to “Personal Settings” (Custom er Pro-
gram mable Featu res) in the Electronic Vehicle Inform a-
tion Center (EVIC) — if equ ipped section of this manu al
for details.
The doors will unlock autom atically on vehicles with
power door locks if:

The Auto Unlock featu re is enabled .
2. The transm ission was in gear and the vehicle speed
retu rned to 0 mph (0 km/ h).
