While  in  the AUTOSTICK  mode,   Speed  Control  will
only  function  in  third  or fourth  gear.
MANUAL TRANSAXLE OPERATION — IF
EQUIPPED
Dow nshifting  out  of third  gear  will turn  off the  speed
control.
WARN ING!
You  or   oth ers  could   be   injured    if  you   leave   the
veh icle   unatten  ded   with out    havin g   the   park  ing
brak e  fully   applied .  The  park  ing  brak e  should   al-
ways  be applied   when  the driver  is  not in the  veh icle,
esp ecially  on  an inclin  e.

If  the   system   detects    powertrain    overheating,    the
transm ission  will  revert   to the  autom  atic shift  mode
and  rem ain in that mode  until the  powertrain   cools off.
If  the  system   detects   a  problem   it  will  disable   the
AUTOSTICK mode  and  the transm ission  will retu rn to
the  autom atic mode  until  the  problem   is corrected .
