For best perform ance and maxim um protection und er all
typ es of operating cond itions, the manu factu rer only
recom mend s engine oils that are API certified and meet
the requ irem ents of Daim lerChrysler Material Stand ard
MS-6395.
If none of these apply to you , and you r vehicle is
equ ipped with a Non–Turbo Charged Engine then
change you r engine oil at every interval show n on
sched ule “A”—N ON TURBO in the maintenance sched -
ule section of this manu al.
American Petroleu m Institu te (API) Engin e Oil
Identification Sym bol

been certified by the American
Petroleu m Institu te (API). The
manu factu rer only recom mend s
API Certified engine oils.
If none of these apply to you , and you r vehicle is

NOTE: Und er no circumstances shou ld oil change in-
tervals exceed 6000 miles (10 000 km) or 6 months
whichever comes first.
