Battery flu id is a corrosive acid solu tion and can burn
or even blin d you . Don’t allow battery flu id to
contact you r eyes, skin or cloth ing. Don’t lean over a
battery when attach ing clam ps. If acid splash es in
eyes or on skin, flu sh the area immediately with
large amounts of water.
CAUTIO N!
When servicin g the battery, alw ays rein stall the bat-
tery therm owrap . The therm owrap provid es battery
heat protection and will exten d overall battery life.
Failu re to rein stall the therm owrap can resu lt in
evap orative loss of the battery flu id.
Battery gas is flam mable and explosive. Keep flam e
or spark s away from the battery. Don’t use a booster
battery or any oth er booster sou rce with an output
greater than 12 volts. Don’t allow cable clam ps to
tou ch each oth er.
Battery posts, term inals and related accessories con-
tain lead and lead compounds. Wash hands after
handlin g.
