Add Names to Your UCon nect™ Phonebook
After you are finished adding an entry into the phone-
book, you will be given the opportu nity to add more
phone nu mbers to the current entry or to retu rn to the
main menu .
NOTE: Adding nam es to phonebook is recom mend ed
when vehicle is not in motion.

Press the “Phone” button to begin.
The UConnect™ system will allow you to enter up to 32
nam es in the phonebook with each nam e having up to
four associated phone nu mbers and designations. Each
langu age has a separate 32-nam e phonebook accessible
only in that langu age.
After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
ЉPhonebook New Entry.Љ

When prom pted , say the nam e of the new entry. Use of
long nam es help s the voice recognition and is recom -
mend ed. For exam ple, say ЉRobert SmithЉ or ЉRobertЉ
instead of ЉBob.Љ
Edit Entries in the UCon nect™ Phonebook
NOTE: Editing phonebook entries is recom mend ed
when vehicle is not in motion.
When prom pted , enter the nu mber designation (e.g.,
ЉHome,ЉЉWork,ЉЉMobile,Љ or ЉPagerЉ). This will allow
you to store multiple nu mbers for each phonebook
entry, if desired .
