Cloth Top Additional Cleaning Procedure

For additional cleaning assistance in rem oving stu bborn
stains, apply Mop ar Convertible Cloth Top Cleaner (part
nu mber 05012245AA) to the complete stain, extend ing 2
inches (50 mm) beyond the stain. With a soft bristle
bru sh, scru b in all directions over the stain. Avoid heavy
scru bbing. Rinse the area with warm water. If the stain is
still apparent, rep eat the cleaning proced ure. When the
stain is no longer show ing, rinse the complete top with
warm water. Let the top dry before lowering it. 7
Avoid gettin g Scotch guard _ on the surrou nding
weath er strip s, mold ings, pain t, or glass. Damage to
these item s migh t occur.
Weather Strip Care
Lubricate all top and door glass weather strip s period i-
cally with Mop ar Weather Strip Lubricant (part nu mber
4773427),
to keep them soft and pliable.
Cloth Top Protection
For appearance purposes, you may wish to protect you r
Twillfast™ (cloth) top period ically. Use Mop ar Convert-
ible Cloth Top Treatm ent or a fabric protectant such as
Scotchgu ard _ is suggested . The top shou ld be clean and
dry before application of the protectant.
