anycrashmayhavebeenstressed ordamaged.
Seeyourdealer/retailer tohavethesafetybelt
assemblies inspected orreplaced.

properly protectthepersonusingit,resulting in
seriousinjuryorevendeathinacrash.Tohelp
makesureyourrestraint systemsareworking
properly afteracrash,havetheminspected and
anynecessary replacements madeassoonas
possible.
IfthevehiclehastheLATCHsystemanditwasbeing
usedduringacrash,youmayneednewLATCH
systemparts.
Newpartsandrepairsmaybenecessary evenifthe
safetybeltorLATCHsystem(ifequipped), wasnot
beingusedatthetimeofthecrash.
Ifanairbaginflates, youwillneedtoreplaceairbag
systemparts.Seethepartontheairbagsystem
earlierinthissection.
Havethesafetybeltpretensioners checkedifthe
vehiclehasbeeninacrash,iftheairbagreadiness light
staysonafterthevehicleisstarted, orwhileyouare
