Thefuelrangeestimateisbasedonanaverageofthe
vehicle's fueleconomyoverrecentdrivinghistoryand
theamountoffuelremaining inthefueltank.This
estimatewillchangeifdrivingconditions change.For
example, ifdrivingintrafficandmakingfrequent stops,
thisdisplaymayreadonenumber,butifthevehicleis
drivenonafreeway,thenumbermaychangeeven
thoughthesameamountoffuelisinthefueltank.This
isbecausedifferent drivingconditions producedifferent
fueleconomies. Generally,freewaydrivingproduces
betterfueleconomythancitydriving. Fuelrangecannot
bereset.
