Thismoderecirculates andhelpstoquicklycooltheair
insidethevehicle. Itcanbeusedtohelpprevent
outsideairandodorsfromentering thevehicle.
HeatedMirrors: Forvehicles withheatedoutside
rearviewmirrors, themirrorsheattohelpclearfogor
frostfromthesurfaceofthemirrorwhentherear
windowdefogbuttonispressed. SeeOutsideHeated

Therecirculation modecannotbeusedwithfloor,defog,
ordefrostmodes.Ifrecirculation isselected withoneof
thosemodes,theindicator lightflashesthreetimesand
thenturnsoff.Theairconditioning compressor also
comesonwhenthismodeisactivated. Whilein
recirculation modethewindowsmayfogwhenthe
weatheriscoldanddamp.Toclearthefog,selecteither
thedefogordefrostmodeandincrease thefanspeed.

OutletAdjustment
Therecirculation modecanalsobeturnedoffbyturning
offtheignition.
Yourvehiclehasairoutletslocatedinthecenterandon
thesideoftheinstrument panelthatallowyoutoadjust
thedirection andamountofairflowinsidethevehicle.
Therearealsoairoutletsontherearofthecenter
consoleforrearseatpassenger use.Movethelouvers
upordown.Usetherotaryknobnexttoorunderneath
theoutlettoclosethelouvers.Forthemostefficient
airflowandtemperature control, keeptheoutletinthe
fullyopenedposition.
RearWindowDefogger
Therearwindowdefoggerusesawarminggridto
removefogfromtherearwindow.

(RearWindowDefogger): Presstoturntherear
windowdefoggeronoroff.Itautomatically turnsoff
afterithasbeenactivated. Thedefogger canalsobe
turnedoffbyturning offtheengine.Donotdrivethe
vehicleuntilallthewindowsareclear.
