BeforeDriving
TheRSEisdesigned forrearseatpassengers only.The
drivercannotsafelyviewthevideoscreenwhiledriving
andshouldnottrytodoso.
ThevehiclemayhaveanDVDRearSeatEntertainment
(RSE)system.TheRSEsystemworkswiththe
vehicle's audiosystem.TheDVDplayerispartofthe
frontradio.TheRSEsystemincludes aradiowitha
DVDplayer,avideodisplayscreen,audio/video jacks,
twowireless headphones, andaremotecontrol. See

information onthevehicle's audio/DVD system.
Insevereorextremeweatherconditions theRSE
systemmightnotworkuntilthetemperature iswithin
theoperating range.Theoperating rangefortheRSE
systemisabove−4°F(−20°C)orbelow140°F(60°C).
Ifthetemperature ofthevehicleisoutsideofthisrange,
heatorcoolthevehicleuntilthetemperature iswithin
theoperating rangeoftheRSEsystem.
DriverControloftheAudioSystem
Headphones
Thedriverhasbasiccontrolofthewholeaudiosystem.
PressandholdOformorethantwosecondstoturnoff
theradio,RSE,andtheRSA(rearseataudio).See
Navigation AudioSystem on page 5‑59 formore
information.
TheRSEincludes two2-channel wirelessheadphones
thatarededicated tothissystem.Channel1is
dedicated totheDVDplayer,whileChannel2is
dedicated toRSAselections. Theseheadphones are
usedtolistentomediasuchasCDs,DVDs,MP3s,
DVDAs,radio,anyauxiliary sourceconnected to
A/Vjacks,ortheauxiliary inputjack,ifthevehiclehas
thisfeature.Thewirelessheadphones haveanOn/Off
button,channel1/2switch,andavolumecontrol.
