Thelowtirepressurewarninglightmaycomeonincool
weatherwhenthevehicleisfirststarted, andthenturn
offasyoustarttodrive.Thiscouldbeanearlyindicator
thattheairpressureinthetire(s) aregettinglowand
needtobeinflated totheproperpressure.
TirePressureMonitorOperation
ThisvehiclemayhaveaTirePressure MonitorSystem
(TPMS).TheTPMSisdesignedtowarnthedriverwhen
alowtirepressurecondition exists. TPMSsensorsare
mountedontoeachtireandwheelassembly,excluding
thesparetireandwheelassembly.TheTPMSsensors
monitortheairpressureinthevehicle's tiresand
transmits thetirepressure readings toareceiver
locatedinthevehicle.
ATireandLoadingInformation label,attached toyour
vehicle, showsthesizeofyourvehicle's original
equipment tiresandthecorrectinflation pressure for
yourvehicle's tireswhentheyarecold.SeeLoadingthe

Whenalowtirepressure
condition isdetected, the
TPMSilluminates thelow
tirepressurewarninglight
locatedontheinstrument
panelcluster.
Yourvehicle's TPMScanwarnyouaboutalowtire
pressure condition butitdoesnotreplacenormaltire
maintenance. SeeTireInspection andRotation on

Notice: Liquidtiresealants coulddamagetheTire
PressureMonitorSystem(TPMS)sensors. Sensor
damagecausedbyusingatiresealantisnot
coveredbyyourwarranty.Donotuseliquidtire
