Thesystemletsyouadjustthescaleofviewonthe
map.Also,asyoudrive,themapscrolls automatically
basedonthedirection oftravel.
HandlingtheDVDMapDisc
MapScales
Whenhandling theDVDmapdisc,becarefulofthe
following:
+/−(ZoomIn/ZoomOut): Touchthezoominorout
screenbuttonsorthescaleonthebartochangethe
levelofmapdetail.Thescaleappearsonthescreen
oncethezoominorzoomoutscreenbuttonsare
selected. Thesystemadjuststhemapaccordingly.
Thescaleofamapcanrangefrom1/32mi.(50m)
to256mi.(400km).TochangeEnglishormetric,
seeDICOperation andDisplays on page 4‑40 for
moreinformation.

Handlethediscverycarefully toavoid
contamination orflaws.Signalsmaynotreadout
properly ifthediscgetscontaminated orflawed.
