Thetripodometercanshowhowfarthevehiclehas
beendrivensincethetripodometer waslastsettozero.
Thischimeandlightsequence arerepeated ifthedriver
remainsunbuckled andthevehicleisinmotion.Ifthe
driversafetybeltisalreadybuckled, neitherthechime
northelightcomeson.
