vehicle. Theoriginal equipment tiresinstalled onyour
vehicle, whenitwasnew,weredesigned tomeet
GeneralMotorsTirePerformance Criteria Specification
(TPCspec)systemrating.Ifyouneedreplacement
tires,GMstrongly recommends thatyougettireswith
thesameTPCSpecrating.Thisway,yourvehiclewill
continue tohavetiresthataredesignedtogivethe
sameperformance andvehiclesafety,duringnormal
use,astheoriginal tires.

numberismoldedontothetire'ssidewall nearthetire
size.Ifthetireshaveanall‐seasontreaddesign,the
TPCspecnumberwillbefollowed byanMSformud

additional information.
Therubberintiresdegrades overtime,eveniftheyare
notbeingused.Thisisalsotrueforthesparetire,
ifyourvehiclehasone.Multipleconditions affecthow
fastthisagingtakesplace,including temperatures,
loadingconditions, andinflation pressuremaintenance.
Withpropercareandmaintenance tireswilltypically
wearoutbeforetheydegradeduetoage.Ifyouare
unsureabouttheneedtoreplaceyourtiresastheyget
older,consultthetiremanufacturer formoreinformation.
GMrecommends replacing tiresinsetsoffour.Thisis
becauseuniformtreaddepthonalltireswillhelpkeep
yourvehicleperforming mostlikeitdidwhenthetires
werenew.Replacing lessthanafullsetoftirescan
affectthebrakingandhandling performance ofyour
