manualhaveinformation aboutservicing thevehicle

Athicklayerofadditional material, suchasablanket
orcushion, oraftermarket equipment suchasseat
covers,seatheaters, andseatmassagers canaffect
howwellthepassenger sensingsystemoperates.
Werecommend thatyounotuseseatcoversorother
aftermarket equipment exceptwhenapproved byGM
foryourspecific vehicle. SeeAddingEquipment toYour

information aboutmodifications thatcanaffecthow
thesystemoperates.

Forupto10secondsaftertheignition isturnedoff
andthebatteryisdisconnected, anairbagcanstill
inflateduringimproper service. Youcanbeinjured
ifyouareclosetoanairbagwhenitinflates. Avoid
yellowconnectors. Theyareprobably partofthe
airbagsystem.Besuretofollowproperservice
procedures, andmakesurethepersonperforming
workforyouisqualified todoso.
Theonindicator maybelitifanobject,suchasa
briefcase, handbag, grocerybag,laptoporother
electronic device,isputonanunoccupied seat.
