Allcharacters aretouch-sensitive screenbuttons.
Touchacharacter toselectit.
Roadnetworkattributes arecontained inthemap
database fordetailed areas.Attributes include
information suchasstreetnames,streetaddress,
turnrestrictions, etc.Adetailed areaincludesall
majorhighways, serviceroads,andresidential roads.
Thedetailed areasincludepointsofinterest (POI)
suchas:restaurants, airports, banks,hospitals, police
stations, gasstations, touristattractions, historical
monuments, etc.Themapdatabasemaynotinclude
datafornewlyconstructed areasormapdatabase
corrections thatarecompleted aftertheproduction of
thedisc.Thenavigation systemprovides fullroute
guidance inthedetailedmapareas.
A-Y(AccentAlphabet): Selecttoenterletterswith
accentsymbols.ThisbuttonmaytoggletoA-Z.
A-Z(Alphabet): Selecttoenterlettersfromthe
alphabet. ThisbuttonmaytoggletoA-Y.
0-9
(Numbers): Selecttoenternumbers.
U(Space): Selecttoenteraspacebetween
characters orthewordsofaname.
Backspace: Selectifanincorrect character has
beenentered.
Tomakenameentrieseasier,thesystemonlyhighlights
thecharacters thatcanfollowthelastoneentered.
Forexample, ifaZisentered, aTmaynotbeavailable
forselection.
LimitedGuidanceAreas
Anyareathatisnotclassified asdetailed, isalimited
guidance area.Limitedguidance streetsaredisplayed
onthemapbutrouteguidance maynotbegivenon
thesestreets. SomePOIcategories, suchasthecity
centerPOIcategory,andsomestreetaddresses are
included inthelimitedguidanceareas.
Ifanamedoesnotdisplayafterentry,itmayneedtobe
entereddifferently orthemapDVDdiscmaynotcontain
