Noise: Keepinterior noiselevelstoaminimum. The
systemmaynotrecognize voicecommands ifthereis
toomuchbackground noise.
bg(PushToTalk): Presstoanswerincoming calls,
toconfirmsysteminformation, andtostartspeech
recognition.
WhentoSpeak: Ashorttonesoundsafterthesystem
responds indicating whenitiswaitingforavoice
command.Waituntilthetoneandthenspeak.
cx(PhoneOnHook): Presstoendacall,rejecta
call,ortocancelanoperation.
HowtoSpeak: Speakclearlyinacalmandnatural
voice.
Pairing
ABluetooth enabledcellphonemustbepairedtothe
in‐vehicleBluetooth systemfirstandthenconnected to
thevehiclebeforeitcanbeused.Seethecellphone
manufacturers userguideforBluetooth functions
beforepairingthecellphone.IfaBluetooth phone
isnotconnected, callswillbemadeusingOnStar®
Hands‐FreeCalling, ifavailable. RefertotheOnStar
owner'sguideformoreinformation.
AudioSystem
Whenusingthein‐vehicleBluetooth system,sound
comesthroughthevehicle's frontaudiosystem
speakers andoverrides theaudiosystem.Usethe
audiosystemvolumeknob,duringacall,tochangethe
volumelevel.Theadjusted volumelevelremainsin
memoryforlatercalls.Topreventmissedcalls,a
minimumvolumelevelisusedifthevolumeisturned
downtoolow.
