RemoteVehicleStart
Thisfeatureallowsyoutostarttheenginefromoutside
ofthevehicle. Itmayalsostartupthevehicle's heating
orairconditioning systemsandrearwindowdefogger.
Normaloperation ofthesystemwillreturnafterthekey
isturnedtotheON/RUNposition.
Duringaremotestart,theclimatecontrolsystemwill
defaulttoaheatingorcoolingmodedepending onthe
outsidetemperatures.
Duringaremotestart,ifyourvehiclehasanautomatic
climatecontrolsystemandheatedseats,theheated
seatswillturnonduringcolderoutsidetemperatures
andwillshutoffwhenthekeyisturnedtoON/RUN.
Ifyourvehicledoesnothaveanautomatic climate
controlsystem,duringremotestart,youwillneedto
manually turntheheatedseatsonandoff.SeeHeated
andCooledSeats on page 2‑5 foradditional
information.
Toreplacethebattery:

Separate thetransmitter withaflat,thinobject
inserted intothenotch,locatedabovethe
metalbase.
Lawsinsomecommunities mayrestrict theuseof
remotestarters. Forexample, somelawsmayrequirea
personusingtheremotestarttohavethevehiclein
viewwhendoingso.Checklocalregulations forany
requirements onremotestarting ofvehicles.

Removetheoldbattery.Donotuseametalobject.
Insertthenewbattery,positive sidefacingup.
ReplacewithaCR2032orequivalent battery.

Snapthetransmitter backtogether.
Donotusetheremotestartfeatureifyourvehicleislow
onfuel.Yourvehiclemayrunoutoffuel.
