Ifyouaddwheelsortiresthatareadifferent sizethan
youroriginal equipment wheelsandtires,thiscould
affectthewayyourvehicleperforms, including its
braking, rideandhandling characteristics, stability,and
resistance torollover.Additionally,ifyourvehiclehas
electronic systemssuchasanti‐lockbrakes,rollover
airbags, traction control, andelectronic stability control,
theperformance ofthesesystemscanbeaffected.
Ifyouusebias-ply tiresonthevehicle, the
wheelrimflanges coulddevelopcracksafter
manymilesofdriving. Atireand/orwheel
couldfailsuddenly,causingacrash.Use
onlyradial-ply tireswiththewheelsonthe
vehicle.

donothaveaTPCSpecnumber,makesuretheyare
thesamesize,loadrange,speedrating,and
construction type(radialandbias‐beltedtires)asyour
vehicle's original tires.
Ifyouadddifferent sizedwheels,yourvehicle
maynotprovideanacceptable levelof
performance andsafetyiftiresnotrecommended
forthosewheelsareselected. Youmayincrease
thechancethatyouwillcrashandsufferserious
injury.OnlyuseGMspecific wheelandtire
systemsdeveloped foryourvehicle, andhave
themproperly installed byaGMcertified
technician.
Vehiclesthathaveatirepressure monitoring system
maygiveaninaccurate low‐pressure warningif
non‐TPCspecratedtiresareinstalled onyourvehicle.
Non‐TPCSpecratedtiresmaygivealow‐pressure
warningthatishigherorlowerthantheproperwarning
