Headphones
Thedriverhasbasiccontrolofthewholeaudiosystem.
TheRSEincludes two2-channel wirelessheadphones
thatarededicated tothissystem.Channel1is
dedicated totheDVDplayer,whileChannel2is
dedicated toRSAselections. Theseheadphones are
usedtolistentomediasuchasCDs,DVDs,MP3s,
DVDAs,radio,anyauxiliary sourceconnected to
A/Vjacks,ortheauxiliary inputjack,ifthevehicle
hasthisfeature. Thewirelessheadphones havean
On/Offbutton,channel1/2switch,andavolume
control.

BeforeDriving
TheRSEisdesigned forrearseatpassengers only.The
drivercannotsafelyviewthevideoscreenwhiledriving
andshouldnottrytodoso.
Ifthevehiclehasathirdrowvideoscreendisplay,
ithastwoadditional headphones.
Insevereorextremeweatherconditions theRSE
systemmightnotworkuntilthetemperature iswithin
theoperating range.Theoperating rangefortheRSE
systemisabove4°F(20°C)orbelow140°F(60°C).
Ifthetemperature ofthevehicleisoutsideofthisrange,
heatorcoolthevehicleuntilthetemperature iswithin
theoperating rangeoftheRSEsystem.
Pushthepowerbuttontoturnontheheadphones. An
indicator lightlocatedontheheadphones comeson.
Ifthelightcomesonbut,thereisintermittent sound
and/orstaticontheheadphones, oriftheindicator light
doesnotcomeon,thebatteries mightneedtobe
replaced. See“BatteryReplacement”laterinthis
sectionformoreinformation. Switchtheheadphones to
Offwhennotinuse.
