Toarmthetheft-deterrent  system:
Openthedoor.
1.
Vehicletheftisbigbusiness,   especially insomecities.
Thisvehiclehastheft-deterrent  features, however,they
donotmakeitimpossible   tosteal.
2. LockthedoorwiththeRemoteKeyless
Entry(RKE)transmitter  orthepowerdoorlock
switch.Thesecurity  lightwillcomeontoinformthe
driverthesystemisarming.Ifadoorisopenwhen
thedoorsarelocked,thesecurity   lightwillflash.
ContentTheft-Deterrent
Yourvehiclehasacontenttheft-deterrent   alarmsystem.
Thisisthesecurity  light.
Ifthedelayedlockingfeatureisturnedon,the
theft‐deterrent systemwillnotstartthearming
processuntilthelastdoorisclosedandthedelay
timerhasexpired.  SeeDelayedLocking on
page 3‑11.
3.
Closealldoors.Thesecurity   lightshouldgooff
afterabout30seconds.Thealarmisnotarmed
untilthesecurity  lightgoesoff.
