Ifyouturnofftheignition orradiowithaCDinthe
player,itwillstayintheplayer.Whenyouturnonthe
ignition orradio,theCDwillstartplayingwhereit
stopped, ifitwasthelastselected audiosource.
Playwillbeginfromthefirsttrackundertheroot
directory.Whenalltracksfromtherootdirectory have
beenplayed,playwillcontinue fromfilesaccording to
theirnumerical listing. Afterplayingthelasttrackfrom
thelastfolder,playwillbeginagainatthefirsttrackof
thefirstfolderorrootdirectory.
Aseachnewtrackstartstoplay,thetracknumberwill
appearonthedisplay.
Ifanerrorappearsonthedisplay,see“CDMessages”
laterinthissection.
Whenplayentersanewfolder,thedisplaywillnot
automatically showthenewfoldername.Thenewtrack
namewillappearonthedisplay.
Ifviewingamapscreen,touchtheCDscreenbutton.
Thedisplaywillsplitbetweentheaudioscreenandthe
mapscreen.Ifyoudonotwanttoviewasplitscreenor
youarenotonamapscreen,presstheAUDIOkey
thenpresstheAUDIOkeyrepeatedly untilCDis
selected ortouchtheCDscreenbutton.
FileSystemandNaming
Thesongnamethatwilldisplaywillbethesongname
thatiscontained intheID3tag.Ifthesongnameisnot
presentintheID3tag,thentheradiowilldisplaythefile
namewithouttheextension (suchas.mp3)asthe
trackname.
M(Load): Toloadonedisc,dothefollowing:

Presstheloadhardkeyandfollowthescreen
messagedisplayed.
Tracknameslongerthan32characters orfourpages
willbeshortened. Thedisplaywillnotshowpartsof
wordsonthelastpageoftextandtheextension ofthe
filenamewillnotdisplay.
2.
Whenthesystemdisplays “InsertDisc(number)”,
insertthediscpartwayintotheslot,labelsideup.
Thesystemwillpullitintothefirstavailable slot
andstartplaying. Thesystemwilldisplaythetype
ofdiscinserted.
PlayinganMP3
WhileplayingaCD,thenavigation systemisavailable.
WhenyouinsertaCD,theCDtabwilldisplay.Ifyou
selectaDSPsettingfortheCD,itwillbeactivated each
timeyouplayaCD.
