RearDoorSecurityLocks
Whenlockingthedoorswiththepowerlockswitch
andadoorortheliftgate   isopen,thedoorswilllock
fivesecondsafterthelastdoorisclosed.Youwillhear
threechimestosignalthatthedelayedlockingfeature
isinuse.
Yourvehiclehasreardoorsecurity   locks.These
preventpassengers fromopeningthereardoorsfrom
theinside.
Thereardoorsecurity
locksarelocatedonthe
insideedgeofeach
reardoor.
Pressing thepowerlockswitchtwicewilloverride
thedelayedlockingfeatureandimmediately   lockall
thedoors.
Thisfeaturewillnotoperateifthekeyisintheignition.
YoucanprogramthisfeatureusingtheDriver
Information Center(DIC).SeeDELAYDOORLOCK
underDICVehicleCustomization  onpage4‑57.
ProgrammableAutomatic
DoorLocks
Vehicleswithanautomatic  lock/unlock featureenable
youtoprogramthevehicle's   powerdoorlocks.Youcan
programthisfeaturethroughtheDriverInformation
Center(DIC).SeeDICVehicleCustomization   on
page 4‑57 formoreinformation onDICprogramming.
Thereardoorsmustbeopentoaccessthem.Thelabel
showinglockandunlockpositions   islocatednear
thelock.
Tosetthelocks,dothefollowing:
1.
Insertthekeyintothesecurity   lockslotandturnit
sotheslotisinthehorizontal    position.

Closethedoor.
