trailer.Crossthesafetychainsunderthetongueofthe
trailertohelppreventthetonguefromcontacting the
roadifitbecomesseparated fromthehitch.Instructions
aboutsafetychainsmaybeprovided bythehitch
manufacturer orbythetrailermanufacturer.Ifthetrailer
beingtowedweighsupto5,000lbs(2271kg)witha
factory-installed stepbumper,safetychainsmaybe
attached totheattaching pointsonthebumper,
otherwise, safetychainsshouldbeattached toholeson
thetrailerhitchplatform. Alwaysleavejustenough
slacksothecombination canturn.Neverallowsafety
chainstodragontheground.

lowertabslineupwiththelowerfasciaslots.
Snapthehitchcoverintoplacebypushingthe
uppercornersforward.
Turnthefasteners onthelowertabs90degrees
