Thevehiclewillnotpassthisinspection ifthe
checkenginelightisonwiththeenginerunning,
orifthekeyisinON/RUNandthelightisnoton.

Thevehiclewillnotpassthisinspection ifthe
OBDII(on-board diagnostic) systemdetermines
thatcritical emission controlsystemshavenot
beencompletely diagnosed bythesystem.
Thevehiclewouldbeconsidered notreadyfor
inspection. Thiscanhappenifthebatteryhas
recently beenreplaced orifthebattery hasrun
down.Thediagnostic systemisdesignedto
evaluate critical emission controlsystemsduring
normaldriving. Thiscantakeseveraldaysof
routinedriving. Ifthishasbeendoneandthe
vehiclestilldoesnotpasstheinspection forlackof
OBDIIsystemreadiness, yourdealer/retailer can
preparethevehicleforinspection.
Donotkeepdrivingiftheoilpressure islow.
Theenginecanbecomesohotthatitcatchesfire.
Someonecouldbeburned.Checktheoilassoon
aspossibleandhavethevehicleserviced.
Notice: Lackofproperengineoilmaintenance can
damagetheengine.Therepairswouldnotbe
coveredbythevehiclewarranty.Alwaysfollowthe
maintenance schedule inthismanualforchanging
engineoil.

dealer/retailer. Ifthesystemisworkingnormally the
indicator lightthengoesoff.
