performance ofyourvehicle, including brakesystem
performance, rideandhandling, traction control, andtire
pressure monitoring performance. GM'sTPCSpec
numberismoldedontothetire'ssidewall nearthetire
size.Ifthetireshaveanall‐seasontreaddesign,the
TPCspecnumberwillbefollowed byanMSformud
andsnow.SeeTireSidewall Labeling on page 7‑60 for
additional information.

Mixingtirescouldcauseyoutolosecontrolwhile
driving. Ifyoumixtiresofdifferent sizes,brands,
ortypes(radialandbias-belted tires),thevehicle
mightnothandleproperly,andyoucouldhavea
crash.Usingtiresofdifferent sizes,brands,
ortypescouldalsocausedamagetoyourvehicle.
Besuretousethesamesize,brand,andtype
tiresonallwheels.
GMrecommends replacing tiresinsetsoffour.Thisis
becauseuniformtreaddepthonalltireswillhelpkeep
yourvehicleperforming mostlikeitdidwhenthetires
werenew.Replacing lessthanafullsetoftirescan
affectthebrakingandhandling performance ofyour
vehicle. SeeTireInspection andRotation on page 7‑71
forinformation onpropertirerotation.
Yourvehiclemayhaveadifferent sizesparethan
theroadtires(thoseoriginally installed onyour
vehicle). Whennew,yourvehicleincluded aspare
tireandwheelassembly withasimilaroverall
diameterasyourvehicle's roadtiresandwheels,
soitisallrighttodriveonit.Becausethisspare
wasdeveloped foruseonyourvehicle, itwillnot
affectvehiclehandling.
