liftgate openbecausecarbonmonoxide(CO)gas
cancomeintoyourvehicle. Youcannotseeor
smellCO.Itcancauseunconsciousness and
evendeath.

Tocancelthereardoorsecurity lock,dothefollowing:

Insertthekeyintothesecurity lockslotandturnit
sotheslotisinthevertical position.
Ifyoumustdrivewiththeliftglass orliftgate open,
orifelectrical wiringorothercableconnections
mustpassthroughthesealbetweenthebodyand
theliftglass orliftgate:
LockoutProtection
Thisfeatureprotectsyoufromlockingthekeyinthe
vehiclewhenthekeyisintheignition andafrontdoor
isopen.

Turnthefanonyourheatingorcooling
systemtoitshighestspeedwiththe
recirculation modeoff.Thatwillforceoutside

Ifthedriver's sidepowerdoorlockswitchispressed
whenthedriver's doorisopenandthekeyisinthe
ignition, allofthedoorswilllockandthenthedriver's
doorwillunlock.
Ifthepassenger's sidepowerdoorlockswitchis
pressedwhenthefrontpassenger's doorisopenand
thekeyisintheignition, allofthedoorswilllockand
thenthefrontpassenger's doorwillunlock.
