restaurants, airports, banks,hospitals, policestations,
gasstations, touristattractions, historical monuments,
etc.Themapdatabase maynotincludedatafornewly
constructed areasormapdatabase corrections that
arecompleted aftertheproduction ofthedisc.The
navigation systemprovides fullrouteguidanceinthe
detailed mapareas.
Backspace: Selectifanincorrect character has
beenentered.
Tomakenameentrieseasier,thesystemonlyhighlights
thecharacters thatcanfollowthelastoneentered. For
example, ifaZisentered, aTmaynotbeavailable for
selection.
Ifanamedoesnotdisplayafterentry,itmayneedtobe
entereddifferently orthemapDVDdiscmaynotcontain

Thissectionincludes basicinformation thatyouneedto
knowaboutthemapdatabase.
Anyareathatisnotclassified asdetailed, isalimited
guidance area.Limitedguidance streetsaredisplayed
onthemapbutrouteguidance maynotbegivenon
thesestreets. SomePOIcategories, suchasthecity
centerPOIcategory,andsomestreetaddresses are
included inthelimitedguidanceareas.
ThemapsarestoredonaDVD.TheUnitedStates,
Canada,andPuertoRicoarecontained ononedisc.
Thenavigation systeminformsthroughvoiceprompts
whenyouaretraveling intoalimitedguidancearea
whererouteguidance isnotavailable. Thestreetmaps
andthedirectional arrowdisplayed onthenavigation
systemcanthenbeusedtodetermine theremaining
routetoyourdestination.
