makingorreceiving phonecalls,charging thephone's
battery,orsimplyhavingthephoneon.This
interference causesanincreased levelofstaticwhile
listening totheradio.Ifstaticisreceived whilelistening
totheradio,unplugthecellular phoneandturnitoff.
Notice: Donotapplyaftermarket glasstintingwith
metallic film.Themetallicfilminsometinting
materials willinterfere withordistorttheincoming
radioreception. Anydamagecausedtotheantenna
duetometallictintingmaterials willnotbecovered
bythewarranty.
RearSideWindowAntenna
TheAM-FMantennaislocatedinthepassenger rear
sidewindows. Makesuretheinsidesurfaces oftherear
sidewindowsarenotscratched andthatthelineson
theglassarenotdamaged. Iftheinsidesurfaces are
damaged, theycouldinterfere withradioreception.
XM™SatelliteRadioAntenna
System
TheXMSatellite Radioantennaislocatedontheroofof
thevehicle. Keeptheantennaclearofobstructions for
clearradioreception.
Ifacellulartelephone antennaneedstobeattached to
theglass,makesurethatthegridlinesfortheAM-FM
antennaarenotdamaged.Thereisenoughspace
betweenthegridlinestoattachacellular telephone
antennawithoutinterfering withradioreception.
Ifthevehiclehasasunroof, theperformance ofthe
XMsystemmaybeaffectedifthesunroofisopen.
