foronandoff,forseveralsecondsasasystemcheck.
Ifyouareusingremotestart,ifequipped, tostartthe

check.

Ifthevehiclehastheairbagstatusindicator pictured in
thefollowing illustration, thenthevehiclehasa
passenger sensingsystemfortherightfrontpassenger
position. Thepassenger airbagstatusindicator isonthe
overhead console. SeePassenger SensingSystem on
page 2‑84 forimportant safetyinformation.
Then,afterseveralmoreseconds,thestatusindicator
willlighteitherONorOFF,oreithertheonoroffsymbol
toletyouknowthestatusoftherightfrontpassenger
frontalairbag.
