Things You Should Know About Your UConnect™
System
Repeat the word s and phrases when prom pted by the
UConnect™ system . For best resu lts, the Voice Training
session shou ld be completed when the vehicle is parked ,
engine running, all wind ows closed , and the blow er fan
switched off.
UCon nect™ Tutorial
To hear a brief tutorial of the system featu res, press the
“Phone” button and say “UConnect™ Tutorial.”
This proced ure may be rep eated with a new user. The
system will adapt to the last trained voice only.
Voice Train ing
For users experiencing difficulty with the system recog-
nizing their voice command s or nu mbers, the UCon-
nect™ system Voice Training featu re may be used . To
enter this training mode, follow one of the two proce-
dures:
To restore the Voice Recognition system to factory defau lt
settings, enter the Voice Training session via the above
proced ure and follow the prom pts.
Voice Recogn ition (VR)
From outsid e the UConnect™ mode (e.g. from rad io
mode)

provid e at least 1⁄2 inch (1 cm) gap betw een the

Press and hold the “Voice Recognition” button for 5
second s until the session begins, or,
overhead console (if equ ipped) and the mirror.

Press the “Voice Recognition” button and say ЉSetup,
Voice TrainingЉ command .
