say “Send .” The system will prom pt you to enter the
nam e or nu mber, say the nam e of the phonebook entry
you wish to send . The UConnect™ will then send the
corresp ond ing phone nu mber associated with the phone-
book entry as tones over the phone.
aѧ,Љ you could press the “Voice Recognition” button and
say ЉPair a PhoneЉ to select that option withou t having to
listen to the rest of the voice prom pt.
Turning Con firm ation Prom pts On/Off
Turning confirm ation prom pts off will stop the system
from confirm ing you r choices (e.g., the UConnect™
system will not rep eat a phone nu mber before you dial
it).
NOTE:

You may not hear all of the tones due to cellular phone
netw ork configu rations, this is norm al.

Press the “Phone” button to begin.
After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
ЉSetup Confirm ations.Љ The UConnect™ system will
play the current confirm ation prom pt statu s and you
will be given the choice to change it.

Some paging and voicem ail system s have system
timeou t settings too short that may not allow the use
of this featu re.

The “Voice Recognition” button can be used when you
wish to skip part of a prom pt and issu e you r voice
recognition command immediately. For exam ple, if a
