UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
NOTE: Regard less of the typ e of operation, when a
tem peratu re knob is set to the full clockw ise or full
counterclockw ise position, the system will deliver full
hot or full cold air out of the ducts, resp ectively.
NOTE: The defrost mode is not autom atically selected .
It must be manu ally selected , when desired .

Defrost /Floor
Air flows throu gh the front and rear floor outlets
The operator can overrid e the AUTO mode setting and
select the direction of the air by rotating the right mode
knob to one of the follow ing positions. When the Mod e is
set to any position other than AUTO, the autom atic
control of air tem peratu re is disabled . The user must
adjust the tem peratu re knobs to obtain the desired tem -
peratu re.

Air flows throu gh the floor outlets located und er
the instru ment panel and into the rear seating
area throu gh vents und er the front seats. Some airflow
is delivered to defrost while in floor mode, so that
comfort can be maintained .

Defrost
Air is directed to the wind shield throu gh the
outlets at the base of the wind shield . Air is also
directed to the front door wind ows throu gh the side
wind ow demister grilles. Some airflow is delivered to
the floor while in defrost so that comfort can be
maintained .
Bi-Level
Air flows both throu gh the outlets located in the
instru ment panel and those located on the floor.
