UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
To Activate
Select “Au to Head lamp Low/ High Beams? — Low/
High Beam.” Refer to “EVIC — Custom er Program mable
Featu res” in Section 4 of this manu al.
NOTE: Broken, muddy, or obstru cted head lights and
taillights of vehicles in the field of view will cause
head lights to rem ain on longer (closer to the vehicle).
Also, dirt, film, and other obstru ctions (sticker, toll box,
etc.) on the wind shield or camera lens will cause the
system to function improp erly.

Turn the end of the multi-function control lever to the
A (Auto) head light position.

Push the multi-function control lever away from you
When the multi-function control lever is in the parklight,
head light, or A (Auto) position (if equ ipped), rotating the
center portion of the lever up and down will increase and
decrease the brightness (dimmer control) of the instru -
ment panel lights. Full daytim e brightness on all elec-
tronic displays (odometer, overhead console, rad io, and
Autom atic Climate Control (if equ ipped) is obtained by
rotating the center portion of the control to the first
detent above the dimmer range. Rotating the control to
the second detent above the dimmer range turns the
interior lights on. Rotating the control to the “Off”
(extrem e bottom ) position disables all the interior lights,
NOTE: This system will not activate until the vehicle is
at or above 20 mph (32 km/ h).
