THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
NOTE: If a program med key is lost, see you r dealer to
have all rem aining keys erased the system s
memory. This will prevent the lost key from starting you r
vehicle. The rem aining keys must then be rep ro-
gram med. All vehicle keys must be taken to the dealer at
the time of service to be rep rogram med.
SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM — IF EQUIPPED
This system monitors the vehicle doors, liftgate, liftgate
flipper glass, and ignition for unau thorized operation
and movem ent insid e of the vehicle. When the alarm is
activated , the system provid es both audible and visu al
signals. The horn will sou nd rep eated ly for three minu tes
and the head lights and taillights will flash for an addi-
tional 15 minu tes.

The Sentry Key system complies with FCC rules part 15
and with RSS-210 of Ind ustry Canad a. Operation is
subject to the follow ing cond itions:
To Set the Alarm
The alarm will set when you use the rem ote keyless entry
transm itter to lock the doors and liftgate or when you use
the power door lock switch while the door is open. After
all the doors are locked and closed , a red light (located in
the instru ment cluster) will flash rap idly for abou t 16
second s to signal that the system is arm ing. During this
