Cleaning the Rear Park Assist System
Clean the Rear Park Assist Sensors with water, car wash
soap and a soft cloth. Do not use rou gh or hard cloths. Do
not scratch or poke the sensors. Otherw ise, you could
damage the sensors.
WARN ING!
Drivers must be carefu l when backing up even when
usin g the rear camera system . Alw ays check carefu lly
behind you r veh icle, and be sure to check for pedes-
trian s, animals, oth er veh icles, obstru ction s, or blin d
spots before backing up. Failu re to do so can resu lt in
seriou s injury or death .
REAR CAMERA — IF EQUIPPED
Vehicles with a Navigation rad io may be equ ipped with
a rear view camera (located on the rear liftgate) that
allow s you to see an on-screen image (on the navigation
rad io screen) of the rear of you r vehicle whenever the
vehicle is put into R (Reverse).
If snow, ice, mud, or anything else builds up on the
camera lens. Clean the lens, rinse with water, and dry
with a soft cloth.
Turning the Rear Camera On

To access the rear camera mode, select “Rear Cam era”
at the System s Settings screen and press ENTER. Refer to
you r “Navigation User’s Manu al” for detailed operating
instru ctions.
