STARTING AND OPERATING
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPMS) consists of the
follow ing components:

SURE” textu al message, but it will not cause the “Tire
Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light” to illuminate or the

Tire Pressu re Monitorin g Low Pressu re Warn ings
The “Tire Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light” will
illuminate in the instru ment cluster, and an au-
dible chim e will be activated when one or more of
the four active road tire pressu res are low. In addition, the
Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC) will display
one or more Low Pressu re messages (Left Front, Left
Rear, Right Front, Right Rear) for 3 second s, and a
grap hic display of the pressu re valu e(s) with the low
tire(s) flashing. Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC)” in Section 4 of this manu al.

Tire Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light
A tire pressu re monitoring sensor is located in the spare
wheel if the vehicle is equ ipped with a matching full size
spare wheel and tire assem bly. The matching full size
spare tire can be used in place of any of the four road

in PSI, kPa, or BAR.
