Shiftin g Into Neutral (N)
Use the follow ing proced ure to prep are you r vehicle for
recreational tow ing.

the tran sfer case is fully in N (Neutral) before recre-
ation al tow ing to preven t damage to intern al parts.

Dep ress brake pedal.
Turn the ignition key ON, engine off.
Shift transm ission into N (Neutral).
Shift transfer case into N (Neutral).
Hold down N (Neutral) “pin” switch (with a pen, etc.) for
second s until the LED lamp by the switch starts to blink
ind icating shift in progress. Lamp will stop blinking (stay
