shou lder belt behind them or und er their arm .
3. The driver and front passenger seats shou ld be moved
back as far as practical to allow the front airbags room to
inflate.
4. Do not lean against the door or wind ow, airbags will 2
inflate forcefu lly into the space betw een you and the
door.
If a child from 1 to 12 years old must rid e in the front
passenger seat becau se the vehicle is crow ded, move the
seat as far back as possible, and use the prop er child
restraint. See “Child Restraint” in this section.
You shou ld read the instru ctions provid ed with you r
child restraint to make sure that you are using it prop erly.
5. If the airbag system in this vehicle need s to be
modified to accom modate a disabled person, contact the
Custom er Center. Phone nu mbers are provid ed und er “If
You Need Assistance” in Section 9 of this manu al.
