THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
The vehicle can be started rem otely up to a maxim um of
two times. The vehicle is also allow ed a maxim um of one
failed start, where the rem ote start sequ ence was initiated
but the engine stop ped cranking withou t starting. After
either of these cond itions, or if the Vehicle Theft Alarm is
alarm ing, or if the PANIC button was pressed , the vehicle
must be reset by inserting a valid key into the ignition
and moving it to the RUN position, then back to LOCK.

For person al secu rity and safety in the even t of an
accid ent, lock the veh icle doors when you drive as
well as when you park and leave the veh icle.
When leavin g the veh icle alw ays rem ove the key
from the ign ition lock , and lock you r veh icle. Do
not leave child ren unatten ded in the veh icle, or
with access to an unlock ed veh icle. Unsupervised
use of veh icle equipment may cause severe per-
son al injuries and death .
DOOR LOCKS
Manual Door Locks
Use the manu al door lock plunger to lock the doors from
insid e the vehicle. If the plunger is down when the door
is closed , the door will lock. Therefore, make sure the
keys are not insid e the vehicle before closing the door.
Power Door Locks
The power door lock switch is located on each front door
panel. Press the switch to lock or unlock the doors.
