After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
the nam e of the langu age you wish to switch to
(English, Espanol, or Francais, if so equ ipped).
If the phone is not reachable and the UConnect™ system
is operational, you may reach the emergency nu mber as
follow s:
Continu e to follow the system prom pts to complete
langu age selection.
• Press the ’Phone’ button to begin.

After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say 3
ЉEmergencyЉ and the UConnect™ system will instru ct
the paired cellular phone to call the emergency nu m-
ber. This featu re is only supported in the USA.
After selecting one of the langu ages, all prom pts and
voice command s will be in that langu age.
NOTE: After every UConnect™ langu age change op-
eration, only the langu age specific 32-nam e phonebook is
usable. The paired phone nam e is not langu age specific
and usable across all langu ages.
NOTE: The emergency nu mber dialed is based on the
Cou ntry where the vehicle is purchased (911 for USA and
Canad a and 060 for Mexico). The nu mber dialed may not
be applicable with the available cellular service and area.

If you are in an emergency and the mobile phone is
reachable:
The UConnect™ system does slightly lower you r chances
of successfu lly making a phone call as to that for the cell
phone directly.

Pick up the phone and manu ally dial the emergency
nu mber for you r area.
Your phone must be turned on and paired to the UCon-
nect™ system to allow use of this vehicle featu re in
