Refer to the “Main ten ance Schedule” section of this
manual for the recom mended air condition ing filter
rep lacem ent intervals.
If necessary, add fluid to restore to the prop er ind icated
level. With a clean cloth, wipe any spilled fluid from all
surfaces. Refer to Fluids, Lubricants, and Genu ine Parts
for correct fluid typ e.
Power Steering — Fluid Check
Checking the power steering fluid level at a defined
service interval is not requ ired . The fluid shou ld only be
checked if a leak is suspected , abnorm al noises are
apparent, and / or the system is not functioning as antici-
pated . Coord inate insp ection efforts throu gh a certified

Front & Rear Suspension Ball Joints
The suspension ball joints are perm anently sealed . No
regu lar maintenance is requ ired for these components.
Steering Shaft Seal
The steering shaft seal, at the point where the shaft passes
throu gh the bulkhead , is lubricated when it is installed . If
the seal becom es noisy when the steering shaft is turned ,
it shou ld be lubricated with a multi-purpose grease. 7
Mop ar multi-purpose lubricant is recom mend ed.
WARN ING!
Fluid level should be checked on a level surface and
with the engin e off to preven t injury from movin g
parts and to insure accurate flu id level read ing. Do
not overfill. Use only manufactu rers recom mended
power steerin g flu id.
