Change Engin e Oil
The oil change ind icator system will rem ind you that it is
time to take you r vehicle in for sched uled maintenance.
Refer to “Maintenance Sched ule” in Section 8 of this
manu al for inform ation on this system .
NOTE: Under no circu mstan ces should oil change
intervals exceed 6,000 miles (10 000 km) or 6 months,
whichever occurs first.
Engin e Oil Selection
For best perform ance and maxim um protection und er all
typ es of operating cond itions, the manu factu rer only
recom mend s engine oils that are API certified and meet 7
the requ irem ents of Daim lerChrysler Material Stand ard
MS-6395.
Engine Oil Dipstick

Overfillin g or underfillin g will cause oil aeration or
loss of oil pressu re. This could damage you r engin e.
