Radio Operation
Pow er/Volu me Con trol
Press the ON/ VOL control to turn the rad io on. Turn the
volu me control clockw ise to increase the volu me.
NOTE: The rad io sales code is located on the lower left
side of you r rad io facep late.
NOTE: Pow er to operate the rad io is supplied throu gh
the ignition switch. It must be in the ON or ACC position
to operate the rad io.
PTY (Program Type)
Pressing the INFO button once while in FM mode will
turn on the PTY mode for 5 second s. If no action is taken
during the 5 second time out, the PTY icon will turn off.
Pressing the TUNE button within 5 second s will allow
the program form at typ e to be selected . Many rad io
stations do not currently broad cast PTY inform ation.
