Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control
The Dual Zone Autom atic Temperatu re Control (ATC)
System autom atically maintains the interior comfort level
desired by the driver and front seat passenger. This is
accom plished by using two infrared sensors located in
the center of the instru ment panel. The two infrared
sensors ind epend ently measu re the surface tem peratu re
of the driver and front seat passenger. Based on the
sensor inp ut, the system autom atically adjusts the air
tem peratu re, the airflow volu me, the airflow distribu -
tion, and amount of insid e air recircu lation to maintain
front seat occupant comfort, even und er changing out-
side weather cond itions.

Dual-Zon e Autom atic Temperatu re Con trol
To operate the system , press either the ЉAUTO HIЉ or
ЉAUTO LOЉ buttons. The system now autom atically
regu lates the heating and air cond itioning system inclu d-
ing blow er speed , outlet air tem peratu re, and airflow
distribu tion throu gh the variou s outlets within the in-
stru ment panel. Using the ЉTEMPЉ buttons, adjust the
