If you r vehicle is damaged due to an accident or
similar cause which destroys the paint and protective
coating, have you r vehicle rep aired as soon as pos-
sible. The cost of such rep airs is consid ered the resp on-
sibility of the owner.

Do not use abrasive or stron g clean ing materials such
as steel wool or scou rin g powder, which will scratch
metal and pain ted surfaces.
If you carry special cargo such as chem icals, fertilizers,
de-icer salt, etc., be sure that such materials are well
packaged and sealed .

If you drive on salted or dusty road s or if you drive
near the ocean, hose off the und ercarriage at least once
a month.

If a lot of driving is done on gravel road s, consid er
mud or stone shield s behind each wheel.
Use Mop ar tou ch up paint on scratches as soon as
possible. Your dealer has tou ch up paint to match the 7
color of you r vehicle.
It is important that the drain holes in the lower edges
of the doors, rocker panels and tru nk be kep t clear and
open.
Wheel and Wheel Trim Care
If you detect any stone chip s or scratches in the paint,
tou ch them up immediately. The cost of such rep airs is
consid ered the resp onsibility of the owner.
All wheels and wheel trim , especially aluminu m and
chrom e plated wheels shou ld be cleaned regu larly with a
