UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
•
If the recircu lation button is pressed while in the Mix
or Defrost mode, the ind icator light in the recircu lation
button will flash 3 times ind icating that recircu lation is
not allow ed.
• Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Set the mode control to “PANEL”.

• Dep ress and hold in the “POWER” button.

The recircu lation control is program med to cancel the
recircu lation mode when the ignition key is turned OFF
and will reset to outsid e air mode when the ignition key
is turned ON. The frequ ent use of outsid e air will help
keep odors from building up within the air cond itioner-
heater hou sing. It is recom mend ed that the recircu lation
mode be used as little as possible, especially in hu mid
climates.

rem ains lit.

If the recircu lation ind icator light is lit, the recircu lation
mode will not reset when the engine is started . If the
recircu lation ind icator light is not lit, the recircu lation
mode will reset to the outsid e air mode when the engine
is started . The program med statu s can be changed back
and forth by follow ing the above mentioned proced ure.
For hot and dry climates, or peop le who are allergic to
pollen and find frequ ent use of the recircu lation mode
necessary, the recircu lation mode can be program med to
not autom atically reset to the outsid e mode by using the
follow ing proced ures:
