Your vehicle may be tow ed und er the follow ing cond i-
tions: The gear selector must be in NEUTRAL, the
distance to be traveled must not exceed 100 miles (160
km), the tow ing speed must not exceed 44 mph (72
km/ h), and both front and rear wheels must be on the
grou nd . If you r vehicle must be tow ed farther or at a
higher rate of speed , it must be transp orted on a flat bed
tru ck.
Alw ays use wheel lift equipment when tow ing
from the fron t. The only oth er approved meth od of
tow ing is with a flat bed tru ck.
