When calling a nu mber with you r UConnect™ system
that norm ally requ ires you to enter in a tou ch-tone
sequ ence on you r cellular phone keyp ad, you can push
the ’Voice Recognition’ button and say the sequ ence you
wish to enter follow ed by the word ЉSend .Љ For exam ple,
if requ ired to enter you r pin nu mber follow ed with a
pound 3 7 4 6 #, you can press the ’Voice Recognition’
button and say Љ3 7 4 6 # Send .Љ Saying a nu mber, or
sequ ence of nu mbers, follow ed by ЉSendЉ is also to be
used to navigate throu gh an autom ated custom er service
center menu stru cture and to leave a nu mber on a pager.
Turning Con firm ation Prom pts On/Off
Turning confirm ation prom pts off will stop the system
from confirm ing you r choices (e.g., the UConnect™
system will not rep eat a phone nu mber before you dial
it).

Barge In - Overrid ing Prom pts
Phone and Netw ork Statu s Indicators
The ’Voice Recognition’ button can be used when you
wish to skip part of a prom pt and issu e you r voice
recognition command immediately. For exam ple, if a
prom pt is playing ЉWould you like to pair a phone, clear
aѧ,Љ you could press the ’Voice Recognition’ button and
say ЉPair a PhoneЉ to select that option withou t having to
listen to the rest of the voice prom pt.
If available on the rad io and / or on a prem ium display
such as the instru ment panel cluster, and supported by
you r cell phone, the UConnect™ system will provid e
notification to inform you of you r phone and netw ork
statu s when you are attem pting to make a phone call
using UConnect™. The statu s is given for roam ing net-
work signal strength, phone battery strength, etc.
