Carefu lly follow these tire changin g warn ings to help pre-
ven t person al injury or damage to you r veh icle:

Gettin g under a jack ed-up veh icle is dangerou s.

Alw ays park on a firm , level surface as far from the ed ge
of the road way as possib le before raisin g the veh icle.
The veh icle could slip off the jack and fall on you .
You could be crushed. Never get any part of you r
body under a veh icle that is on a jack . Never start
or run the engin e while the veh icle is on a jack . If
you need to get under a raised veh icle, tak e it to a
service center where it can be raised on a lift.
Block the wheel diagon ally op posite the wheel to be
raised .

tires only. The jack should not be used to lift the
veh icle for service purposes. The veh icle should
be jack ed on a firm level surface only. Avoid ice or
